About me!

Hi!! I'm Bryn, or also bug or beetle or on most other sites ten thousand beetles!

I go by they/them, both because of trangener non binary but also since I am in fact ten thousand beetles in a human suit

I like a lotta different things, but am mostly into biology! I love all animals like bugs, birds, fish, mammals, molluscs, etc etc etc AND all non animals like plants, fungi, protists, bacteria and archaea, and like all them things. I also love evolutionary biology and ecology, and hope to become an ecologist some day!

I also play guitar a little lil bit, like to make things and lil crafts, read book, and especially drawing. Heh one of these days I'll even put some of my art on my site WHO KNOWS,,,,

  • Chelicerate arthropod: Horseshoe crabs my beloved, also sea spiders are funny
  • Crustacean: Isopods, but specifically the fucked up antarctic ones
  • Fish: Port jackson shark!
  • Reptile: Bearded dragon bc i have a pet one !
  • Bird: Great eared nightjar
  • Mammal: Pangolins
  • Mollusc: nautilus!

  • protist: choanoflagellates - PLEASE look them up if you dont know what they are theyre literally thought to be the sister clade to ALL animals
  • Bacteria: the nice ones that help you digest food
  • Archaea: thermophiles like the ones that live in yellowstone geysers
  • Virus: evil fucked up proteins (prions)
